As the lawyer, David Strathairn, an exceptional but undervalued actor, once again demonstrates his remarkable talent. Andrew Walker fills the lethal steel-tipped boots of the Skinhead role superbly. Like another film on the same brutal subject, AMERICAN HISTORY X, (1998), STEEL TOES should be required viewing in schools, for as the Skinhead tells the judge at his trial, not only is he to blame, but also society.
